ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur Celebrates Chinese New Year with Xiao Xin Old Folks Home
February 2023

Kuala Lumpur, 3rd February 2023 - ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur recently gave back to the community by visiting the Xiao Xin Serdang Old Folks Home as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Collaborating with The Giving Bank on 2nd February 2023, the team arrived at the home at 11am to greet and mingle with the residents.

The team celebrated Chinese New Year with the residents with a traditional Yee Sang toss, followed by a delicious lunch sponsored by the team. Not only that, the residents were served with pineapple cake sponsored by Starbucks Malaysia and also Soymilk red dates sponsored by Joybean. The hotel team also distributed “ang pau” to the residents and helped spruce up the home, creating a clean and inviting atmosphere for the folks.

The visit concluded with a photo session at 1.30pm, capturing memories of the day and the team's commitment to giving back to the community. The event was a great success, and the residents of the old folks home appreciated the kindness and generosity given.

ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur has always committed unwaveringly to making a positive impact on society. This visit to the Xiao Xin Serdang Old Folks Home is just one out of the long list of initiatives the hotel has planned and are looking forward to the next one planned.

Xiao Xin Serdang Old Folks Home located in Taman Seri Serdang presently houses 14 elderly folks from different backgrounds. The home offers care to the elderly while providing them with a safe environment to call ‘home’ without any charge. They hope to bring more awareness to the public about the plight of old folks and wish to have more visitors to bring comfort, peace and joy to their residents.
