Ansa Hotel Kuala Lumpur Hand Out Free Popcorn To Passers-by At Ansa Walk
September 2019

KUALA LUMPUR, September 2019 - Every month ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur organise an activity at ANSA Walk. In the month of September, the activity involved handing out free caramel popcorn to passers-by.

ANSA Walk is a popular covered walkway connected to ANSA Hotel. Retail outlets such as 7Eleven, Starbucks, Hogan Bakery and two currency exchanges and many more line ANSA Walk. On average 50,000 pedestrians walk through ANSA Walk each day.

In a bid to increase the number of followers on the ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur Instagram account, passers-by were encouraged to “follow” ANSA to receive free popcorn. The event ran from 2:30pm to 7:30pm when the crowds in the area begin to peak. Both sessions were very successful and all the heads of department and multiple ANSA Staff got involved to hand out the popcorn as well as Chinese paper lanterns to mark the Autumn lantern festival.

By the end of the event, ANSA was able to create more brand awareness as well increase their Instagram followers by an extra 80 pushing their total followers over 1000 threshold.
